Historic St. Augustine, Florida, is also an ideal place to learn to sail. Our marina is located on the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) just a short distance from the St. Augustine inlet, so we have the ICW, river sailing, and the Atlantic Ocean, all within minutes of our docks. Our students experience most of the conditions they will experience in actual coastal conditions: tidal currents in inlets and rivers, using channel markers and buoys, anchoring in situations of wind and current and many others. Few locations have such a variety of sailing conditions so nearby.
